About Roberto Gell

The innovative Dominican American roots reggae artist Roberto Gell, began and (still) gets busy with the Libra Project; a collective which also consists of his 2 brothers. Libra Project is based out of Los Angeles California and boast such awards as the indy film festival "video of the year". Roberto was raised in Massachusetts and was a young musical prodigy during his formative years. Currently Roberto Gell works with 3 bands officially, with respect and recognition from many other bands, such as the great Bob Marley's former band: The Wailers. With notable influences from the Hip Hop Community; Roberto peppers his lyrics with Spanish and expresses both his Latin & Caribbean roots. With an innate ability to blend in his classic rock and soul influences, Roberto's end result is conscious music, in the form of great traditional roots style reggae.  

Midnight Ravers EP Liner Notes by Kyle Russell

This is the premier release by Roberto gell entitled "Midnight Ravers", this EP follows up on Gell's various festival appearances with Abijah, I-Trinity, and Dub Station Reggae Artists, laying the groundwork for a full length cd.  With this release, Roberto Gell and KRucial Reggae are launching a promotional campaign to share a glimpse of what is to come.
